So guess what book I've recently taken a liking to? You've guess right; Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz.
It's a funny story, really. I've gotten this book quite a few months ago. I don't even rememeber why I bought it (just like I don't know why I bought Kissed By An Angel), but I did. It's a vampire novel so I guess that explains it. Anyway, I've just had it sitting around for the longest time. This girl in a few of my classes named Melissa (ironic, eh?) would laugh at the fact that I haven't picked it up again.
Our conversations usually went something like this:
She'd say, "So have you ever finished Blue Bloods yet?"
"Nope," I would answer, popping the p.
Teasingly chiding smile. "It's actually a really good book."
I shrugged. "It's boring."
"Well, it doesn't get interesting until twenty pages in."
Correction, Melissa. Blue Bloods doesn't get interesting until sixty pages in. How would I know that? Because the last couple days I've been reading the darn book. I got the sequel Masquerade for my birthday and so I decided that I should probably read the first book. I actually like it though. It's not the best, and I don't exactly suggest reading it (since we all know what happened last time I tried suggesting a book to read). =/
