Musicians I Like To Listen To

Just in case any of you are curious about what I listen to or are looking for music suggestions, I've made a nice list of all the musicians I like. And in return, you should make a post telling what your favorites are, then comment on this blog linking to your post.

ENYA
I love Enya (full name: Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin). Her voice has that spiritual and inspiring thing going on. I'm always getting motivated when I listen to her music. My favorite song by her at the moment is "Amarantine." (SINGS FOLK, CELTIC.)

ANYA MARINA
Their names may be similar, but Anya Marina's music is very different from Enya's. The thing about Anya's music I like is how she sings. I can't put my finger on what kind of accent she has, but she has a very whispery kind of voice that I love hearing. Listen to "Satellite Heart" to see what I mean. (SINGS INDIE, ALTERNATIVE, ACOUSTIC.)

GRETA SALPETER
The female singer in the group The Hush Sound (SUNG ROCK, INDIE, POP). Sadly, after three albums, The Hush sound is no longer together, but Greta here is still makin' music with her sweet and soft soprano voice. (SINGS POP, INDIE.)

REGINA SPEKTOR
Ever since I first heard her song "Fidelity" on MTV I was in love with the quirkiness of how she sung her songs. I don't know what it is about the song, but listen to "Laughing With" and you'll know what I mean when I say it's deep and hits a feel emotional strings. (SINGS ALTERNATIVE, INDIE ROCK, ACOUSTIC, BLUES.)

INGRID MICHAELSON
Ingrid is another beautiful soprano singer. My sister and I love singing along to her song "You and I." (SINGS INDIE, POP, FOLK ROCK.)
