Blue Moon by Alyson Noel

You should be used to the fact that I usually only talk about books I'm reading or have finished.

But anyway, tonight at 8:46 I finished this book and then just now I finished reading the first chapter of the third book Shadowland. This book was obviously good seeing how I spent all day reading it and not moving from where I situated myself on the couch.

It's funny, because from the first book Evermore I could tell that it was a lot like the Twilight saga. And in the beginning of Blue Moon it lists a dozen reviews that almost all mention it being like Twilight and that if you like Stephenie Meyer's work you'll like this series, etc. I found it very amusing and rather ironic. But I did really like the book. It certainly struck an emotional cord in me. I almost cried a bunch of times and teared up at one part. I will admit, some parts were boring and I skimmed over meaningless details to get back to the dialogue (because that's my favorite part of a book).

So, yes, if you do indeed like the Twilight books you may enjoy this series - The Immortals Series.

I'd say it's a good time for writers with fictional books on vampires, thanks to Stephenie Meyer's success!

Yes, I agree with you, Amy...if only this book was actually about vampires...

I skip to dialogue too. Also, I like your changes. Very open-to-interpretation.

I'm sorry, Heidi, what do you mean? My changes in what? And what about them being "open-to-interpretation"? You talkin' 'bout my layout?
